Last fall Charlie found a pair of Abby's hot pink boots and refused to take them off. That day Carlos requested (demanded) that I find our little guy a pair of appropriate boots. So after searching every store in town I found him a pair of black cowboy boots. Pretty much those two have been inseparable! There is really no situation where cowboys are inappropriate!
I love my little boy and his boots!
My next post just might be about his Thomas the Tank Engine helmet.

The dangers of having a little brother
This past week Abby and Charlie collided at Jumping Jellybeans. Charlie hit Abby's eye with the back of his hard little head. The result was a black eye for Abby, and a headache for Charlie. My perfect little girl has looked awful all week. It is finally to the yellow/green stage, but for some reason I just have not been able to get a good picture of it! No worries, school pictures are this week, and I am sure they will be able to able to catch the gruesome bruise.
Not to be out-done by Abby, Charlie took on the driveway yesterday. . . and the driveway won!

Blogging Apathy
I don't know what my problem is with Blogging these days. Maybe it is the cold weather resulting in the winter blahs. Maybe it is because my siblings have finally provided my parents with additional grandchildren, so the pressure to provide them with weekly photos has been alleviated. What ever my problem, I apologize.
We are still alive and kicking. It has been a tough winter. The nurse at my pediatricians office recognizes my number on caller ID, and greets me by name when she answers the phone. . . followed by "which one is it this time?"
February is particularly icky in Georgia because it is generally brown and ugly. Well today we had a special treat! It snowed here in Georgia! The kids LOVED it, and somehow the fluffy white stuff lifted my spirits!
It started snowing this morning while we were at church. It was a really odd storm because it was accompanied with thunder and lightening. Weird huh?
Abby was really antsy to play with snow, and it was killing her to wait for the lightening storm to stop. So this was our solution, a tupperware full of snow at the kitchen table.
Once Carlos told her it was time to go outside, we could not get her snow clothes on her fast enough (poor Charlie missed out on all the fun because of his afternoon nap!)
What a pink princess!
Carlos thinks that Izzy had the best time of all running around in the snow.
Here is the finished product. Not bad for a Georgia snowman!
