Family Fun

Because Carlos has spent ALL his time working lately, we decided we needed to do something FUN with the family this past weekend. It was pretty much a spur of the moment plan, and our friends the Meadows are ALSO up for spur of the moment FUN! We went to Tanner State Park in Carrollton, GA. Who knew this gem was basically in our backyard??????

Abby said her favorite part was sleeping in a tent.

What cute kids!

Abby had control of the camera.

One of our favorite people, Ashlee.

Izzy even got in on the family fun!

Abby at one with nature.

What cute friends.

Waiting on the SLOW adults to go swimming in the lake.

On the way to the lake.

Isn't she the cutest?

Abby is giving Charlie some pointers.

Such a cute bathing beauty.

Spending some quality time with my baby.

And as if the Meadows are not tall enough, they found a way to even be taller!!!!

Car washing, welcome home and the private pool

While Carlos washed the cars, the kids decided their cars also need a good clean.

What a SHOCKER, Carlos is on the phone!

Everyone is very busy!

Abby has been doing her own hair lately. . . can't you tell? Love that smile!

We were THRILLED when Mamita and Papa Carlos told us they were moving home to Georgia. The kids and I thought a HUGE poster was necessary for the occasion!

What better way to welcome them back in town than life-sized Abby and Charlie on their garage?!

While we were in Florida we spent all day in the pool. When we got home we decided we needed our own private pool. The kids were so excited they couldn't wait for us to fill it up. . . afterall there really was no reason to wait. We have had a great time with this little pool. Wish me luck in keeping this thing from turning green!

Second Annual "The Glades take Destin"

Summer was in the air, so it was time to pack up and head down to Destin Florida! We met up with the rest of the Glades/Sullivans/Bagleys from California, Utah, Kansas and Arkansas. Months and months of planning went into the trip! For more detailed reports visit:

Here is the proof that we had a great time!

Schools Out

I am playing a bit of catch-up!

Last month Abby finished up another year of preschool. She has NEVER been a public performer. Usually her school programs end is tears or paralyzing fear. She did much better this time around. She sang all the songs, did all the actions and even smiled every once in a while.

Then we had a end of the year party

On a totally unrelated topic, breaking the passy habit is not going so well!

There is always fun to be had!

Soon after we moved into this house I heard loud screaming coming from the driveway. I went running preparing myself for another one of Charlie's head wounds. Instead I found this:

(So he is still in his PJs. . . don't judge!)
